12.68. Removal and installation, check and adjustment of final position of levers of a screen wiper

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Moisten a windshield with water.
2. Let's work to a screen wiper about 2 min. and stop it the switch. At the same time the cleaner will stop in final situation.
3. Disconnect a negative cable (–) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition.
ATTENTION

Thereof information from electronic blocks of memory as, for example, a radio receiver code is erased. Without code the radio receiver can be switched on only by the manufacturer or HUNDRED AUDIS. Therefore get acquainted with materials of the subsection Input of a Code of the Radio Receiver.

4. Remove brushes, the subsection Replacement of Elastic Bands of Brushes of Screen Wipers.
5. Remove the small screw-driver caps (arrows on an illustration).
6. Weaken the nuts lying under them, completely without turning off them.
7. Release levers by means of easy movement them in different directions.
8. Completely turn off nuts and remove levers.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Attach a negative cable (–) to the rechargeable battery.
ATTENTION

Enter a radio receiver code, adjust the power window, establish hours, at the same time address to the subsection Input of a Code of the Radio Receiver.

2. Stop the cleaner electric motor in final situation. For this purpose start for a short time a cleaner and stop it the switch. Thanks to it the electric motor stops in final situation.
3. Put on a brush the lever and record.
4. Put on the lever a cleaner axis so that to sustain the sizes given on an illustration.
5. In this situation tighten fastening nuts the moment of 20 N • m.
6. Start a cleaner in the jog mode and check installation of brushes. If necessary once again remove levers and again you will expose them.
7. Put on plastic caps fastening nuts.
