12:27. Removal and installation of the panel of the lock of a cowl

Cowl lock panel
1 – Torx screw, 25 N • m
2 - holder of the lock
3 – turn signal
4 – the bolt is six-sided, 35 N • m
5 – Torx screw, 6 N • m		6 – holder of the lock
7 – facing of a bumper
8 – self-tapping screw, 8 N • m
9 – sound insulation
ATTENTION

The holder of the lock can act with the established headlights and a radiator. Here removal and installation with a radiator and headlights is described.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Merge cooling liquid, address the subsection Replacement of Cooling Liquid.
2. Disconnect hoses from a radiator, address the subsection Removal and installation of a radiator and the fan.
3. Remove facing of a bumper –7–, address the subsection Removal and installation of bumpers.
4. Disconnect electric wires of headlights.
5. Remove indexes of turns, address the subsection Removal and installation of the forward index of turn.
6. Remove the cowl lock, address the subsection Removal and installation of the lock of a cowl.
7. Turn out bolts of fastening-1-and-4-. Do not unscrew the fixing screws of a bumper (arrow).
8. Remove the holder of the lock-2-by means of the assistant forward.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish by means of the assistant the holder of the lock and fix it by screws-1-and-4-.
2. Put the cowl lock, address the subsection Removal and installation of the lock of a cowl.
3. Establish turn signals, address the subsection Removal and installation of the forward index of turn.
4. Attach electric wires of headlights.
5. Establish facing of a bumper, address the subsection Removal and installation of bumpers.
6. Attach hoses of cooling liquid to a radiator and fix them by collars, address the subsection Removal and installation of a radiator and the fan.
7. Fill system with liquid, address the subsection Replacement of Cooling Liquid.
8. Check adjustment of headlights, if necessary adjust again.
