Elements of fastening and adjustment of a cowl

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open a cowl.
2. Mark the provision of a cowl. For this purpose lead round a felt-tip pen fastening bolts on loops (from a cowl).
3. Ask the assistant to support a cowl.
ATTENTION

At removal of a gas-filled emphasis it is impossible to remove completely a lock spring –4–. Otherwise the emphasis can be damaged and it should be replaced.

4. Disconnect a gas-filled emphasis –3– from a cowl. For this purpose raise the screw-driver a lock spring –4– a little. Remove an emphasis from a spherical support. If the emphasis needs to be removed completely, raise the lower spring the same as top and remove the sharovy hinge.
5. Turn out bolts of fastening –6– on a cowl and remove a cowl by means of the assistant.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If necessary restore a paint and varnish covering of a cowl.
2. Establish into place a cowl. Expose a cowl by means of the markings put at removal, and fix by bolts –6–. If the new cowl is established, it needs to be adjusted.
3. Put an emphasis –3– on a spherical support and record a spring –4–.
4. If shock-absorbers-2-were removed, they need to be adjusted again. Turn external shock-absorbers for adjustment on height. Screw internal shock-absorbers completely and then turn off on Ѕ a turn. The cowl has to settle down aflush with adjacent details of a body.

Adjustment of a cowl

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Weaken bolts of fastening –6– from a cowl a little so that it could be moved in the longitudinal and cross directions.
2. Turn off nuts of fastening of a hook a little (nuts –1–, a hook –2–).
3. Turn off bolts of fastening of the lock of a cowl a little (screws-1-, the lock of a cowl –2–, the holder –3–).
4. Close a cowl and displace it so that between adjacent elements of a body there was a uniform gap, address Specifications.
5. Adjust the provision of a cowl on height by turn of external shock-absorbers-2-.
6. Carefully open the exposed cowl so that not to change the provision of loops of a cowl.
7. Tighten bolts of fastening of loops the moment of 20 N • m.
8. Tighten bolts of fastening of the lock of a cowl the moment of 20 N • m.
9. Tighten nuts of fastening of a hook the moment of 8 N • m.
