12.6. Repair of considerable damages of a body

| 1. Repair of serious damages of a body has to be made in the conditions of specialized auto repair shop at the disposal of which there is a necessary equipment. | | 2. Whether in case of extensive damages of a body first of all it is necessary to be convinced there were no shifts of elements of the panels capable to affect controllability of the car or to be the reason of the increased wear any of its components. |

In view of the fact that the majority of elements of a body (a cowl, wings, etc.) is represented by separate components which replacement can be made in an individual order, their replacement in case of serious damage it is not represented expedient. More often much more reasonably and more economic it appears to find a suitable replaceable element which can be found not only in shops of auto parts, but also on automobile dumps that, naturally, allows to cut down expenses significantly. | |
When carrying out welding works When carrying out the welding and other works connected with strong sparking near the accumulator surely remove the accumulator.
It is not necessary to carry out welding and the soldering of elements of system of the conditioner. It belongs also to those elements of the car which welding can cause a warming up of details of the conditioner. When carrying out repair and painting works in the drying camera or in a zone of its warming up temperature should not exceed +80 °.
Connection of units with a body
ATTENTION
To keep reliability of connection with weight and to prevent damage owing to corrosion it is not necessary to disconnect wires from a body. Disconnect wires only from the accumulator, the engine or the transmission.
Before accession of wires or tires of connection with weight clear all places of connections to metal. Be convinced of reliability of an inhaling of bolt connections with a weight.
