13:24. Removal and installation of the understeering switch

Are a part of the understeering switch: both switches of the index of turns / driving beam and screen wiper.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a negative cable (–) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition.
ATTENTION

Thereof information from electronic blocks of memory as, for example, a radio receiver code is erased. Without code the radio receiver can be switched on only by the manufacturer or HUNDRED AUDIS. Therefore get acquainted with materials of the subsection Input of a Code of the Radio Receiver.

2. Remove the safety cushion block from the driver, at the same time address the subsection Removal and installation of the block of a safety cushion.
3. Remove a steering wheel, at the same time address the subsection Removal and installation of a steering wheel.
4. Disconnect the handle of the mechanism of adjustment of a steering column-1-.
5. Turn out 2 screws with crosswise shliyets –4– and the screw with an internal hexagon –2– (a key of 4 mm).
6. Turn out 2 screws of fastening by the-3-thin long screw-driver.
7. Remove top and lower speak rapidly facing of the understeering switch.
8. Rasstykuyte socket-1-.
9. Unscrew the screw with an internal hexagon –2– (5 mm) so that the understeering switch could move slightly.
10. Carefully disconnect electric connections from the understeering switch.
ATTENTION

At removal of the understeering switch the spring remains on the switch. You watch that the spring was not twisted and remained in the average situation.

11. Remove the understeering switch from a column and put aside.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Put on the understeering switch-2-a steering column, without fixing it.
2. Put on a steering wheel.
3. Fix at first the understeering switch-2 the screw with an internal hexagon –3– on a steering column so that the distance to a steering wheel made and = 3 mm.
4. Again remove a steering wheel and execute further installation in the sequence, the return to removal.
5. Establish a steering wheel, address the subsection Removal and installation of a steering wheel.
6. Establish a safety cushion, address the subsection Removal and installation of the block of a safety cushion.
7. Attach a cable of mass of the rechargeable battery. Attention: Make active high-rise automatic equipment of the power window, and also establish hours and enter a radio tape recorder code, address the subsection Input of a Code of the Radio Receiver.
