1.36. Cowl
Opening of a cowl
For unlocking of a cowl pull for the handle located on the left side under the dashboard. At the same time the cowl will be pushed out from a lock by effort of a spring. At the same time, through a front grille the unlocking uvula outside will move forward, address an illustration.
ATTENTION
Before opening of a cowl be convinced that brushes of a screen wiper are on a windshield. Otherwise they can damage a paint and varnish covering.
For opening of a cowl pull the unlocking uvula in the direction of an arrow and raise a cowl until it is wrung out under the influence of a spring up.
Closing of a cowl
For closing lower a cowl down, before full overcoming effort of a spring then slam it so that it was latched on the lock.
ATTENTION
The cowl of the engine has to be reliably closed during the movement. Therefore always after closing of a cowl check whether it was latched on the lock. At the correct locking the cowl appears aflush with the interfaced body components.
If at the movement of the car you notice that the lock of a cowl is not latched, stop and close a cowl.
Podkapotny space
ATTENTION
During the work in podkapotny space observe extra care!
Kill the engine, take the ignition key from the lock.
Reliably tighten the emergency brake.
Install the gear shifting lever in neutral situation / situation "P".
Let's the engine cool down.
So far the engine keeps working temperature:
- do not hold up a hand under the cooling system fan, it can suddenly turn on;
- do not open a radiator stopper, the cooling system is under pressure.
Beware of short circuit in system of electric equipment, especially in the accumulator.
In need of performance of control operations on the working engine you remember the additional danger proceeding from the rotating parts (for example, maple a belt, the generator, the cooling system fan, etc.), and also from chains of high voltage of system of ignition.

In order to avoid serious functional violations you watch to mixing operational liquids when refueling or various systems.
