1.16. Luggage carrier

Loading of the car

For the benefit of preservation of good dynamics of the car you monitor uniform distribution of freight.

Place heavy objects as it is possible further ahead, i.e. closely to backs of back seats or closely to front seats (address an illustration) at the put backs. Freight should not support the upper edge of seatbacks.

Pressure in tires has to correspond to loading of the car – address pressure sticker in tires on a cover of the filling hatch.

Do not exceed the full admissible weight and axial loading at all. Their admissible values are given in documents of the car.
ATTENTION

Remember that in transit heavy objects dynamic qualities of the car change because of the shift of the center of gravity.

Therefore the mode and speed of the movement respectively have to be chosen.
Place freight whenever possible in a luggage carrier and with the lifted and latched backs.
By means of a safety grid * or inelastic tension tapes fix freight for lifting loops. It reaches the greatest degree of safety.
In order to avoid hit of exhaust gases never move to salon with not completely closed and furthermore with an open door of a luggage carrier!


Lifting loops

In a luggage compartment four lifting loops (shooters) are located.

By means of these loops it is possible to fix freight.

Safety grid *

The safety grid is in a luggage carrier pocket. By means of a grid it is possible to fix luggage carrier freight reliably.
Enter grid hooks into lifting loops.

After use put a grid and lay it in a pocket.

For installation and fixing of forward hooks enter hooks parallel to a loop, and then turn them – address an illustration.

Straighten a safety grid in a luggage carrier. At the same time inscription "TORAHS" has to specify up, and an arrow in the direction of the movement. The free end of a lifting belt has to specify in the direction of a door of a luggage carrier.

Put both regulators up and weaken lifting belts – address an illustration.

Place freight that it whenever possible completely was under a grid.

Pull lifting belts back and achieve their hard tension.

The cargo holding grid

This grid can be used only for fastening of easy freight.

The grid interferes with luggage carrier freight shift. For fastening of freight pass hooks throughout lifting loops.

Bed curtains of a luggage compartment

The bed curtains of a luggage compartment can be used for articles of clothing.
ATTENTION

Do not put heavy, firm objects on bed curtains of a luggage compartment. At sharp braking they constitute danger to passengers.


Besides, the objects rubbing about back glass can damage system of its electrical heating.

When opening a door of a luggage carrier the bed curtains of a luggage compartment at the same time rise.

In need of transportation of bulky freights the bed curtains can be removed.

Removal of bed curtains


In bed curtains junctions in a door of a luggage carrier release lock loops (1).

Pull bed curtains (3) back and take it from holders (2) – shooters.

For installation of bed curtains enter it forward in side holders and fix lock loops on a luggage carrier door.
