1 tachometers and digital watch with indication of date
Tachometer
The red sector of a scale corresponds to the range of the maximum turns, admissible is short-term for the rolled and heated-up engine.
It is recommended, however, the latest at achievement to be switched by an arrow of this sector of a scale to an overgear or to reduce gas.

Digital watch with indication of date
The display panel of hours is in tachometer scale limits.
The top indication shows time, and lower date.
Time and date is determined by the button of control. Hours can work as radio-controlled quartz * and as the ordinary quartz watch.
At reception of important radio information hours are automatically included into the "radio-controlled quartz watch" mode with emergence on the display panel of a symbol of reception of radio information (radio tower). In the absence of important radio information within three days hours automatically switch in the "quartz watch" mode. Installation of time of hours/date
Manually time and date can be determined only in the "quartz watch" mode.
For installation of the current hour pull the button, hour indication will not begin to blink yet. Indication of hour changes turn of the button to the left / to the right.
For installation of minutes pull the button several times, indication of minutes will not begin to blink yet. Indication of minutes changes turn of the button to the left / to the right.
For installation of calendar date pull the button several times, indication of day, month or year will not begin to blink yet. Indication of day, month or year changes turn of the button to the left / to the right.
The termination of a blinking of indication after an otpuskaniye of the button means completion of process of installation.
Installation of the time zone
When moving on the car to other time zone respectively change indication of hours.
For installation of the time zone (in the mode of clock radios) pull the button, hour indication will not begin to blink yet. Indication of the time zone (the current hour) changes turn of the button to the left / to the right.
Conclusion to indication of calendar date
Pull the button several times, indication of calendar date will not begin to blink yet.
Calendar date is brought to indication by turn of the button to the right and disappears at turn of the button to the left. The termination of a blinking of indication after an otpuskaniye of the button means completion of process of installation.

Control of indication of symbols

With malfunction of the 1st degree of priority (a red symbol) control of indication is impossible.

Working interval of temperatures

5 reserve of fuel
The index works at the included ignition.
Capacity of the fuel tank of front-wheel cars makes 55 liters, and all-wheel drive 62 liters.
If the arrow reached the reserve field, in a stock there were about 7 liters of fuel.
Fire of a symbol of a gas station on the control panel reminds, besides, of need of gas station.
Never run out of fuel from a tank up to the end.

8 speedometer with run counters
Speedometer
The speedometer is equipped with the digital counter of the general run and the measuring instrument of a run from the moment of dumping.

Run counters
The lower counter registers the general run, and top (measuring instrument) – a run from the moment of the beginning of measurement.

With malfunction of the 1st degree of priority (a red symbol) the call of indication of the number of kilometers which remained before maintenance is impossible.

1) Control lamp of system of preheat of the diesel engine
The control lamp lights up at emergence during the movement of malfunction in a control system of the engine. The control system of engine capacity automatically switches to the emergency program. At the same time engine capacity decreases a little. Urgently address on HUNDRED Audis.
System of preheat (only diesel engines)

At inclusion of ignition of the cold engine the control lamp lights up. Fire of a lamp demonstrates inclusion of preheat of the engine.
The lamp dies away after achievement of temperature of ignition. You start the engine at once as soon as the lamp goes out – address the subsection Lock of Ignition and Start of the Engine.
At start of the heated-up engine, and also at an external temperature above +8 °C the control lamp of system of preheat lights up approximately for one second – the engine can be started at once.
If at the cold engine the control lamp does not light up, then malfunction in system of preheat can be the cause. In this case ask for the qualified help.
At emergence of malfunction in a control system of the engine during the movement the control lamp begins to blink. Engine management switches automatically to the emergency program. At the same time its power decreases a little.

System of safety cushions AIRBAG
The control lamp of system of pillows and devices of a pyrotechnic tension of belts has to light up after inclusion of ignition and die away in several seconds.

ABS

If the control lamp of ABS does not die away or lights up on the run, then the device is faulty. In this case braking of the car only with use of the ordinary brake system is possible.
If at malfunction of ABS the alarm lamp of the brake system in addition lights up, consider the following:

Emergency brake

After the correct closing of all doors and a luggage carrier this symbol dies away.
Brake system

The symbol blinks at too low level of brake fluid or at malfunction of ABS.
In this case stop, and check the level of brake fluid.
When falling level of brake fluid in the filling tank below the mark "Min" carefully reach to the next HUNDRED Audis, add brake fluid and establish the reason of decrease in its level. At refusal of ABS there is no regulation of brake effort of the back bridge. Therefore back wheels have big tendency to blocking.

The following indication can be brought to the display of an information system of the driver (FIS):

Indication radiosistemy1)
In the absence of display of faults of the 2nd degree of priority and the turned-on radio (depending on a complete set of radio) after the letters "OK" will go out, on the display the name of radio station or a radio frequency with additional information appears.
This indication is additional information of the radio display.
Indication external temperatury1)
Indication of external temperature appears at the included ignition. On cars with automatic transmission indication appears only after inclusion of the mode of the movement.
At temperatures from +5 °C to -5 °C to the left of indication of temperature the snowflake is highlighted.

Cars with a manual box of gear shifting – RKPP
If the functions checked by the control system of malfunctions as it should be, then for several seconds indication "OK" lights up.
With malfunctions, after inclusion of ignition their indication appears (instead of indication "OK"). At the same time the acoustic warning signal (is distributed at simultaneous emergence of malfunctions 1 and 2 degrees of priority three warning signals).
At absence on the malfunction indication display, and also the letters "OK" the system is subject to check.
Cars with automatic transmission
After inclusion of ignition (the selector lever in the provision "P" and "N") on the display the instruction to the driver is published: "BEIM EINLEGEN EINER FAHRSTUFE IM STAND FUSSBREMSE BETATIGEN" (at inclusion of the mode of the movement of the motionless car press a brake pedal).
At the choice the mode of the movement ("R", "D", etc. the instruction to the driver dies away, and after pressing of a pedal of a brake automatic control of functions is exercised.
If under control functions as it should be, then for several seconds are highlighted the letters "OK".
With one or several malfunctions, approximately in 15 seconds after start of the engine, the instruction to the driver is replaced by indication of the corresponding symbols of malfunctions.

Brake system

The control lamp blinks when falling level of brake fluid below norm or at malfunction of ABS.
Stop and check the level of brake fluid.
When falling level of brake fluid below the mark "Min" it is possible to reach with care to the next HUNDRED Audis for the purpose of a dolivaniye of liquid and clarification of the reasons of its leak. At refusal of ABS there is no regulation of brake effort of the back bridge. Therefore back wheels have big tendency to blocking.

Excess alarm system skorosti1)
The alarm system of speeding allows to set its limit at which excess approximately on 10 km/h, the warning signal is distributed. At the same time on the display the alarm km/h symbol appears.

Below process of programming of speed of degrees of the prevention 1 and 2 and their cancellations is described.
Degree of the prevention 1

The alarm symbol dies away at reduction of speed below the programmed threshold. The symbol dies away besides at increase in speed of the about 40 km/h higher programmed threshold within at least 10 seconds. At the same time however there is no dumping of data of memory of the programmed restriction of speed.
Programming of speed
At the time of indication on a speedometer of the necessary speed press and release the control button of the control system of malfunctions. Input in memory is confirmed by highlighting of an alarm symbol of restriction of speed at a button otpuskaniye.

At a speed more than 5 km/h press the control button more than one second. Cancellation of restriction is confirmed by the crossed-out alarm symbol.
At switching off of ignition there is an automatic dumping of data of memory of the memory device.

At the switched-off ignition the driver can program a continuous threshold of the prevention.
Indication of the prevention is highlighted on the display. The alarm symbol dies away unlike prevention degree only at reduction of speed below the programmed size.
Programming of this prevention is recommended in need of a reminder to the driver of maintenance of a certain speed as addition to degree of the prevention 1. (For example, at the movement in the country with restriction of speed, maximum speed at the movement with winter tires, etc.).
Programming of speed
At the switched-off ignition press and release the control button. Indication of the counter of the passable way is highlighted.
Again press at least for 2 seconds the control button. On the display the size of an urgent threshold of restriction of speed appears.
For change of speed press the top or lower party of the switch of functions (shooter) of the traveling computer. At the same time there is stage-by-stage (one stage of 10 km/h) an increase or reduction of values.
In several seconds after completion of programming lighting of the display is again switched off.
