At a bolt otvorachivaniye the car has to stand on wheels. There is a danger of accident owing to the big moment of an otvorachivaniye!


3. Mark paint the provision of the corresponding forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly the balanced wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.
ATTENTION

Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation get acquainted with Poddomkrachivaniye's subsection of the car.


4. Mark a felt-tip pen or a chertilka the provision of bolts of fastening – a 1-spherical support. Otherwise at assembly it is necessary to measure a forward suspension bracket and to adjust it. Turn out bolts – 1–.
5. Disconnect by means of a stripper a drive shaft from a nave.
ATTENTION

Do not disconnect a brake hose from a brake support. Otherwise after assembly it is necessary to remove systems from system air.


6. Depending on model various options of a design of a forward brake can be established. FS– III support: Uncover – 2– and disconnect a support. Suspend a casing of a support on a wire to the chassis. FN– 3 support: Turn off bolts with edges from a support casing. At installation they need to be replaced with new. Remove a support, address the subsection Removal and installation of a brake disk / support.
7. Unscrew the screw with crosswise shliyets and remove a brake disk.
8. Turn off a nut of fastening of the hinge of steering draft until the end of a carving. It carries out a support role for a stripper.
9. Wring out a stripper (A), for example, of Hazet 779 a pin of the hinge of steering draft from the lever.
10. Disconnect the plug – 1 sensors of speed of ABS.
11. Remove an ABS sensor wire from the holder (shooter).
12. Turn off a nut of fastening of a depreciation rack the AUDI 3186 tool, holding at the same time the screw-driver under an internal hexagon 7 mm for a rod from a provorachivaniye. If the specified tool is unavailable, turn off a nut by means of a cranked cap key. There is a special Hazet No. 2593 tool – 21.
13. Take out a depreciation rack and the case of the bearing of a wheel through a wheel casing down.
14. Separate the case of the bearing of a wheel and a depreciation rack. For this purpose turn off a bolt of fastening of a depreciation rack to the wheel bearing case.
15. Take out a depreciation rack from the wheel bearing case up. If it is hardly taken out, for dismantle simplification expand vents in the wheel bearing case with the AUDI tool a little – 3424 either what – or other suitable tool.
INSTALLATION
16. Put on the wheel bearing case a depreciation rack so that openings at a pipe of the shock-absorber and the case of the bearing coincided.
17. Insert into the bearing case / a depreciation rack a new bolt. The bolt head at the established depreciation rack is ahead in the direction of the movement. Screw the new self-stopped nut and tighten its moment 50 N • m, then a rigid key tighten on 90 ° (1/4 turns).
18. Before installation of a depreciation rack oil a rack support assembly "G 294 421 F1" (shooters on an illustration).
19. Insert a depreciation rack and fix from above by a new nut the moment 60 N • m, keeping her from a provorachivaniye a key under an internal hexagon of 7 mm.
ATTENTION

To establish a dynamometer key, as the tool it is possible to use AUDI – 3186 or HAZET 2593 - 21 complete with 2100 - 07 to deduction from a provorachivaniye.


20. Clear teeths and a carving of a shaft of the drive and a nave a brush of corrosion and other pollution.
21. Cover a dodecahedral nut and teeths of the external hinge on a drive shaft with pure motive oil. Enter as it is possible more deeply the external hinge in nave teeths.
22. Establish a brake disk / support, address the subsection Removal and installation of a brake disk / support.
ATTENTION

If pipelines of the brake system were opened, it is necessary to remove air from the last, address the subsection Removal of Air from the brake system.


23. Join ABS speed sensor socket, lay a wire in the holder on a depreciation rack.
24. Fix a spherical support on the lever. Establish fastening bolts in oval openings so that earlier put markings coincided. Tighten bolts the moment of 20 N • m then tighten a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns).
ATTENTION

At installation install fastening bolts in average situation in the new lever and tighten. In conclusion measure disorder, address Section 15.


25. Insert steering draft into the pendular lever on the case of the bearing of a wheel and tighten the new self-stopped nut the moment 45 N • m.
26. Screw a new dodecahedral nut of fastening of a shaft of the drive to a nave and tighten the moment 50 N • mv. At the same time ask the assistant to press a brake that the nave was not turned.
27. you stanovit into place a forward wheel so that the markings put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing lubricant the aligning wheel disk belt on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of a wheel. Replace rusty bolts. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts a cross – crosswise the moment
120 N • m.
28. Lower the car on wheels and fix a drive shaft to a nave, address the subsection Removal and installation of power shafts.
