2.6. Check of a gear belt of the GRM drive on existence of damages, wear measurement

Diesel engine
It will be necessary for carrying out work for you:
– caliper,
– gear belt and tension roller (if necessary).
Even if the belt is not worn-out, it is necessary to make replacement each 60 00 km of a run.

| 1. Open 3 brackets of fastening of the top part of a protective cover of a belt. | | 2. Take a cover above a little aside so that the belt was visible. |
| 3. Measure by a caliper belt width – and –. If belt width less than 22 mm, it means that the belt reached a limit of wear and it needs to be replaced (address an accompanying illustration). |
| 4. Replace a gear belt and a tension roller, for this purpose address the subsection Installation of the Piston of the first cylinder in VMT. | | 5. Fix by brackets the top protective cover of a belt. | | 6. If the gear belt was replaced, on inside of a cowl fix a sticker with new date of replacement of a belt. | |
