6.2.10. Removal and installation of a starter

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Disconnect a negative cable (–) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition.

ATTENTION

Thereof information from electronic blocks of memory, such as, a radio receiver code is erased. Without code the radio receiver can be switched on only by the manufacturer or HUNDRED AUDIS. Therefore get acquainted with materials of the subsection Input of a Code of the Radio Receiver.

Diesel engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the rechargeable battery, address the subsection Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery.
	2. Turn off bolts of fastening and remove the console of the rechargeable battery (an arrow on an illustration).
All cars
	3. Disconnect a wire –1–.
4. Rasstykuyte also take out the socket-2-from the holder.
5. Disconnect a wire –4– and a rasstykuyta the socket-3-.
6. Take out wires from a guide.
	7. Turn out the top bolt of fastening of a starter –1–.
8. Remove a noise-attenuating element in the center.
	9. Disconnect the pressure head pipeline of the power steering from the holder (the shooter on the right on an illustration).
	10. Turn out the lower bolt of fastening of a starter –2–.
11. Take out a starter down.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish a starter and fix it to the check point by the moment of 65 N of m.
2. Fix the power steering pressure pipeline by the moment of 20 N of m.
3. Attach an electric wire of the plug 30 to a starter and fix by the moment 16 N of m.
4. Join the plug 30 socket.
5. Establish the central noise-attenuating element.
6. Diesel engine: Fix the console of the rechargeable battery and install the battery, address the subsection Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery.
7. Attach a cable of mass of the rechargeable battery. Attention: Make active high-rise automatic equipment of the power window, and also establish hours and enter a radio tape recorder code, address the subsection Removal and installation of the rechargeable battery and Input of a code of the radio receiver.
