5.1.7. Check of the relay of the fuel pump
The relay of the fuel pump is in a relay payment, the place 4, on the party of the driver under the dashboard block. It needs to be checked if the pump does not work.

| 1. Take out a safety lock No. 28 of the fuel pump. | | 2. Attach a diode control lamp by means of an auxiliary wire between the weight and one of two contacts of a safety lock of the fuel pump. |
| 3. Remove the top facing around the driver's legs, at the left, at the same time address the subsection Removal and installation of a pocket from the driver. | | 4. Include a starter. Turning on of the relay of the fuel pump has to be heard. Besides, the diode control lamp has to light up. | | 5. If the relay does not turn on, check the supply voltage and management. |
| 6. If diode the control lamp does not light up though the relay turns on, repeat check on other contact of a safety lock. |
| 7. If the diode control lamp does not burn again, check a wire between contact 23 at the relay, the place 4, and a safety lock of the fuel pump. In the presence of break eliminate it. | | 8. If power supply of the relay, management and wires of the relay as it should be, replace the relay of the fuel pump. | | Check of food |
| Take out the relay of the fuel pump from a relay payment (the place of the relay No. 4). | | Include ignition. | Consistently attach the voltmeter:
– between contact 19 (plus the ignition lock) and weight;
– between contact 17 (plus the rechargeable battery) and weight.
The required value: 12 V (battery tension).
Otherwise check break of a wire according to the electric circuit and eliminate. | | Switch off ignition. | |
CHECK OF MANAGEMENT

| 1. Attach a diode control lamp with an auxiliary wire between contact 16 (a lot of management from the monitor of the engine) and contact 17 (plus) a socle of the relay. | | 2. Include a starter. At the same time the light-emitting diode has to light up. Otherwise find break of a wire to the monitor injection and eliminate it or replace the monitor (work HUNDRED). |
ATTENTION Diode control lamps have small consumption of current. If the starter is not included, they have a weak luminescence and completely do not die away.

| 3. Insert a safety lock of the fuel pump. | | 4. Establish a pocket around an arrangement of legs, at the same time address the subsection Removal and installation of a pocket from the driver. |
