5.1.2. Removal and installation of the fuel filter
The fuel filter with elements of fastening and hoses
REMOVAL
The fuel filter-1-is on the bottom before the fuel tank, looking in the direction of the movement. Within carrying out maintenance it is not required to replace the filter.
ATTENTION
At removal of the fuel pump some volume of fuel can flow out. Fuel vapors are poisonous and flammable therefore it is necessary to monitor especially good ventilation of a workplace. Exclude hits of fuel on skin. Use the mittens resistant in relation to fuel. Do not use the dug-out fire. There is a risk of fire! You keep in readiness the fire extinguisher.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

| 1. Lift and install the car on supports. Put under the fuel filter-1 capacity for collecting the following fuel. |
| 2. Press fuel hoses 2/3 corresponding collars, for example HAZET 4590. |
| 3. Squeeze quick disconnect couplings and disconnect fuel hoses from the filter. At the same time close connection by a thick rag. After that, carefully disconnecting a hose, take off pressure. |
| 4. Disconnect the holder –4–, having unscrewed the screw-5-. |
ATTENTION
The filter is filled with fuel.

| 1. Install the new fuel filter so that marking on the filter showed in the direction from a tank to the engine. 7 – to the fuel distributive highway at the engine. |
| 2. Put on hoses, at the same time fix couplings. |
| 3. Pass on the car and check tightness of hose connections. |
