3.8.4. Check of pressure of oil and sensor of the index of pressure of oil
The manometer used for check of pressure of motive oil and operability of the sensor of pressure of oil

The manometer which can be screwed instead of the sensor of the index of pressure of oil is necessary for check. The sensor of the index of pressure of oil is on the holder of an oil filter.

PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Check oil level, if necessary add. | | 2. Start and warm up the engine. Temperature of oil has to make about +80 °C. This temperature is reached if the index of temperature of cooling liquid shows normal working temperature. | | 3. Turn out the relay (A) from the holder of an oil filter and screw it in the manometer. |
| 4. Screw in the engine instead of the sensor of the index of pressure the manometer. | | 5. Connect a brown wire of the-3-control AUDI device (V.A.G 1342) to weight(s). | | 6. Attach a diode control lamp an auxiliary wire to a positive cable (+) the rechargeable battery. | | 7. Start the engine and slowly lift speed. At achievement of the oil pressure established for this engine (address Specifications) the light-emitting diode has to go out, otherwise replace the sensor of the index of pressure. | | 8. Increase engine turns. At 2000 rpm and temperature of oil of +80 °C pressure of oil has to be not less than 2.0 bars | | 9. Lower pressure of oil indicates damage of the valve of pressure of oil, the oil pump or wear of bearings of a bent shaft. | | 10. At increase in speed of the engine pressure of oil should not exceed 7.0 bars. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the oil pressure valve. |
| 11. Install the sensor of the index of pressure and fix by its moment 25 N • m. At violation of tightness replace a sealing ring. | |
