Engines are supplied with the lubrication system under pressure. The oil pump soaks up through a grid motive oil from the pallet of a case and gives it under pressure through an oil filter. From forcing of the oil pump there is a reducing valve. With an excessive pressure of oil the valve opens, and a part of oil comes back in the case pallet.

Through the central part of the boss of the filter the filtered oil comes to the main oil canal. There the sensor of the index of pressure of oil which through a control lamp in the block of the dashboard indicates to the driver inadmissible pressure decrease of oil settles down. At a contamination of an oil filter perepuskny the valve directs oil without its filtration directly to the main oil canal.

From the main oil channel channels of lubricant of bearings of a bent shaft branch off. Via inclined channels in cranked to a shaft oil arrives to conrod bearings. Cooling of the bottom of the piston is carried out through the nozzles giving oil from below to the piston.

At the same time motive oil comes via vertical pipelines to a head of cylinders, supplying with oil bearings of the camshaft and compensators of valvate gaps.

Depending on execution oil is cooled by means of the radiator located on a flange of an oil filter and included in the engine cooling system.

Oil consumption

The consumption of oil is understood as amount of oil which is consumed in the course of combustion. It is not necessary to understand as it the oil consumption connected with its leaks owing to leakage via the case pallet, a cover of a head of cylinders etc. at all.

The normal consumption of oil is formed at combustion of a small amount of oil in cylinders, together with production of the fulfilled gases and wear. Besides, oil is lost as a result of the influence of high temperature and high pressure taking place in the engine. On loss of oil also service conditions as, for example, style of driving, and also admissions of production of elements of the engine make impact. The consumption of oil should not be more 1.0l/1000 km.
ATTENTION

It is not necessary to fill in oil above the mark Max at all. If oil was poured, surplus it needs to be extorted. Otherwise the catalytic converter can be damaged by not burned down oil coming to it.
