10.6. Brake fluid
During the work with brake fluid it must be kept in mind the following:
ATTENTION
Brake fluid is poisonous. Do not suck away liquid a mouth through a hose at all. You store brake fluid only in capacities, casual access to which is excluded.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

| 1. Brake fluid aggressive. Therefore it is not necessary to allow it contact with paint and varnish coverings if it after all got on a covering, it is necessary to wipe a surface and to wash out a strong stream of water. |
| 2. Brake fluid is hygroscopic, i.e. it absorbs moisture from air. Therefore brake fluid should be stored in the closed vessels. |
| 3. The brake fluid once used in the brake system should not be applied further. After removal of air from the brake system add in it only new brake fluid. |
| 4. Specification of brake fluid: FMVSS 116 DOT 4. |
| 5. Do not allow contact of brake fluid with mineral oils. The insignificant amount of mineral oil puts brake fluid out of commission or is the reason of failure of the brake system. The contact of traffic jams and cuffs of the brake system with the substances containing mineral oils leads them to damage. Do not apply the rags impregnated with mineral oils to cleaning of system. |
6. Replace brake fluid each 2 years. It is recommended to do it on the expiration of cold season.
ATTENTION
Brake fluid has to be utilized in a special way. It is not necessary to throw out it together with household waste at all. Local authorities have to inform drivers on places of possible utilization of dangerous materials.
