5.4.5. Replacement of the central / additional muffler
At manufacturer the back pipe and 2 mufflers form uniform knot. However mufflers can be replaced separately.
Division of mufflers is made by cutting by a usual chain saw, for example, of HAZET 4682. If there is no specified tool, it is possible to cut a hacksaw.
ATTENTION
If the muffler does not leave a collar, there are two opportunities for its dismantle: to cut through a pipe at distance of 5 cm behind a collar. Then to bring down a chisel and the hammer the pipe rest. Second opportunity: in the presence of the gas-cutting device it is necessary to heat a collar. At the same time the pipe will extend that will allow to remove it.
Before use of the gas-cutting device close the car bottom asbestos cloth. Do not heat the muffler around the fuel tank from plastic at all. There is a risk of fire. You keep in readiness the fire extinguisher.

ATTENTION
At rise and installation of the car on supports there is a danger! Therefore previously get acquainted with the head Poddomkrachivaniye of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

| 1. Lift and install the car on supports. |
|
2. The place of division of the muffler is marked by deepenings. Division is made at average markings (arrow 2). Side markings (arrows 1 and 3) serve as indexes of depth of input of pipes in a collar. |
| 3. Throw with a divider chain around average markings –2– and pull. Roll a chain in different directions, having tightened it to exclude deformation of a pipe when cutting. |
| 4. Disconnect the muffler from rubber holders and take out. |
| INSTALLATION

| 5. Enter the muffler in rubber holders. |
6. For connection of pipes the spare collar serves.
ATTENTION
Surely replace the collars used earlier, they are not reused. As depending on model of the car pipes of various diameters are applied, pay attention to the used spare parts.

| 7. Expose system of release, at the same time address the subsection Removal and installation of system of release. |
| 8. Fix a collar by the moment of 40 N of m. Bolts have to settle down horizontally and show to the left side of the car. |
