System of production of the fulfilled gases. The engine without turbocompressor.

On the engine of 1.8 l with a turbo-supercharging the flange of a reception pipe of the muffler has differences.

REMOVAL

ATTENTION

Elements of system of release can be removed separately. The central and additional mufflers can be separated from each other. They exist as separate spare parts, address the subsection Replacement of the Central/additional Muffler.
At rise and installation of the car on supports there is a danger! Therefore previously get acquainted with Poddomkrachivaniye's subsection of the car.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and install the car on supports.
2. Spray all bolts and nuts of system of release by means for dissolution of a rust. Wait some time.
3. Turn off near the catalytic converter a cover of shtekerny connection of the sensor of oxygen (the shooter below on an illustration). Disconnect an electric wire with clips (the top arrow) at the heat-shielding screen. Take out from a cover the socket and its rasstykuyta.
4. Turn off the lower bolts of fastening of a reception pipe at a final collector or a turbocompressor.
5. Bring under system of release of a support or suspend it on a wire to the car bottom that it did not fall.
ATTENTION

Do not allow at all falling of system of release as at the same time the ceramics of the catalytic converter can be damaged. It will result in need of replacement of the catalytic converter.
6. Turn off from both parties bolts of fastening of a forward cross-piece of system of release to the bottom.
7. Take out by means of the assistant system of release from fastenings.
INSTALLATION
ATTENTION

Consolidations, nuts and bolts surely replace with new. For simplification of the subsequent dismantling it is recommended nuts and bolts of system of release before installation into place to cover with high-temperature paste, for example, of Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC.
8. If mufflers are not replaced, sealing and contact surfaces before assembly need to be smoothed out an emery paper from a rust and the remains of sealant.
ATTENTION

At a turbocompressor a flexible (disconnecting) element in a reception pipe do not unbend on a corner more than 10 °, otherwise it can be damaged.
9. Fix by bolts holders of system of release at a forward cross-piece so that the unbent party of the holder (the shooter) looked at illustrations in the direction of the movement.
10. Install system of release by means of the assistant and suspend it behind in rubber holders.
11. Fix a forward cross-piece by bolts the moment of 25 N of m to the car bottom.
12. Engines without turbocompressor: Fix by bolts a reception pipe with new sealing laying on a final collector and tighten in the sequence shown on an illustration cross-wise by the moment of 40 N of m.
13. Engines with a turbocompressor: Fix a reception pipe with new sealing laying on a turbocompressor cross-wise the moment of 40 N of m – petrol and 25 N of m – diesel engines.
14. Expose system of release so that it lay in suspension brackets without tightness.
15. Tighten bolts and nuts of fastening by the efforts specified in Specifications.
16. Establish the lower cover of a motive compartment, at the same time address the subsection Removal and installation of the lower cover of a motive compartment.
17. Lay an oxygen sensor cable in clips and connect. Screw a cover of shtekerny connection on the bottom.
18. Lower the car on wheels.
19. Check system of release for tightness, at the same time address the corresponding subsection Check of a Condition of System of Production of the Fulfilled Gases.
