11.2.2. Removal and installation of the bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave

Signs of the damaged bearings is the following: noise on abrupt turns; the heavy course of a wheel at the released brake. Bearings of wheels can be installed only with use of special adaptation. The bearing collapses as a result of removal therefore it needs to be replaced.
REMOVAL

| 1. Remove a support and a brake disk of a back wheel, address a podazdel Removal and installation of a brake disk / support. |
2. Turn off a dodecahedral nut of fastening of a wheel to a nave.
ATTENTION
Install the lever of a face key horizontally to the left that at a nut otvorachivaniye the car did not slide off sideways supports. Danger of accident!

3. Remove the nave bearing/knot from a pin a stripper (And). |

4. Remove the remained bearing holder from a nave a usual stripper with a collar (And). |
ATTENTION
At the same time do not damage the ABS sensor.

| 1. The bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave are replaced only in a set. Special AUDI-3429 adaptation is used to installation. As a result of adaptation navorachivaniye on a pin the bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave napressovyvatsya. Again remove adaptation. |
2. Screw a new dodecahedral nut and thus pull a nave against the stop. A nut tighten the moment of 175 N • m.
