2.27. Check of level of liquid of the main transfer of automatic transmission

The special tool is not required

ATTENTION

If in the course of control of level of oil in the main transfer it is established that there is too much oil or a little, replacement of oil together with planetary transfer is necessary. The reason has to be found out and eliminated on HUNDRED AUDIS.

Control

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the car on the flat horizontal platform.
	2. Turn out the speedometer drive from the transmission and wipe it with a rag.
3. Again screw and turn out the drive and check oil level on the drive. Level of oil has to lie between the marks MIN and MAX.
4. If necessary add oil. Oil volume between the marks MIN and MAX makes 0.1 l therefore do not pour oil much. Surplus oil needs to be extorted, for example, the syringe to which the plastic hose is attached.
5. Screw the speedometer drive in transfer.
6. On inside of a cowl fix a sticker with new date of check of oil of the main transfer.
