ATTENTION

After an otvorachivaniye of a dodecahedral nut (an axis nut) by which the power shaft is fixed to a nave it is not necessary to put the car with full load on wheels and to shift it. In the absence of axial preload the bearing of a wheel can be damaged. If necessary instead of a power shaft install the external hinge and fix by its moment 50 N • m.


REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Take off a decorative cap of a wheel, at wheels from light metal remove caps removable hooks from a set of the onboard tool.
2. Weaken a dodecahedral nut of a nave of a wheel at a drive shaft, without turning off it.
ATTENTION

At an otvorachivaniye of a nut of fastening of a shaft of the drive the car has to stand whenever possible wheels on the earth. If the car is lifted, put a key so that the effort at an otvorachivaniye worked vertically down. Otherwise the car can slide off sideways supports. Big moment of an otvorachivaniye. Danger of accident!


3. Mark paint the provision of the corresponding forward wheel concerning a nave. It will allow to establish at assembly the balanced wheel in its former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel on the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.

ATTENTION

Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation get acquainted with Poddomkrachivaniye's subsection of the car.


4. Mark a felt-tip pen the provision of bolts of a-1-spherical support or lead round them a chertilka. Otherwise at the subsequent installation it will be necessary to take measurement and adjustment of a forward suspension bracket. Turn out bolts-1-.
5. If the drive shaft manually is not taken out from a nave, remove a shaft by means of a stripper. HUNDRED AUDIS apply for this purpose AUDI-3283 stripper.

ATTENTION

Do not allow a shaft to hang, otherwise the internal hinge can be damaged as a result of an excess.


6. Turn out screws with an internal polyhedron for a drive shaft on a transmission flange. The insert under an internal polyhedron, for example, of HAZET 990 Lg-8 is for this purpose necessary.
7. Cars with RKPP: Incline a depreciation rack outside and take out a drive shaft from the wheel bearing case.
Cars with AT:
8. Turn off fastening bolts (arrows on an illustration) the AT support to a unit beam.
9. Insert mount between a beam of the unit and the block of cylinders and take away the block in the direction of the movement. At the same time, the drive shaft Tripode hinge can be taken out.
INSTALLATION
10. Clear a brush teeths and a carving of a shaft of the drive and a nave of a rust and other pollution.
11. Fix a shaft at the check point. Tighten screws with an internal polyhedron cross-wise. Check point inhaling moment (hinge of equal angular speeds): 40 N of m; AT (Tripode hinge): 45 N of m.
12. Grease an adjacent surface of a dodecahedral nut and teeths of the external hinge with pure motive oil. Enter the external hinge into nave teeths as far as it is possible.
13. Fix the sharovy hinge on the lever. Establish fastening bolts in oval openings so that earlier put markings coincided. Tighten bolts the moment of 20 N of m then tighten a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns).
ATTENTION

At installation install fastening bolts in average situation in the new lever and tighten. In conclusion measure disorder, address subsection the Angles of installation of forward wheels.


14. Install the internal hinge of a shaft of the drive and tighten screws with an internal polyhedron.

15. Cars with AT: Tighten bolts of fastening of a support of the check point to a unit beam the moment of 25 N of m.
16. Enter the external hinge against the stop into the wheel bearing.
17. Tighten a dodecahedral nut the moment of 300 N of m and then again turn off it on Ѕ a turn.
18. Tighten a dodecahedral nut the moment of 50 N • m, then tighten a rigid key on 45 ° (1/4 turns).
ATTENTION

The angular washer of HAZET 6690 is necessary for an inhaling on a certain corner. If such washer is unavailable, the dodecahedral nut can drag on as follows.


19. Lower the car so that wheels concerned the earth.
20. Tighten a dodecahedral nut the moment of 300 N of m and again turn off it on Ѕ a turn.
21. Tighten a dodecahedral nut the moment of 50 N of m.
22. Mark one side of a nut (an arrow A on an illustration). (Arrow B) apply the second marking on a nave edge through the following edge. Instruction: The distance from one side to another makes 45 °.
23. Tighten a dodecahedral nut a key so that both markings coincided.
